With the arrival of the era of the falling birthrate, it has become necessary to create attractive schools and educational facilities that meet the needs of society. Also, it has become an urgent matter to carry out rebuilding in order to resolve the issues of insufficient quake resistance and deterioration of buildings. Regarding new construction or renovation of schools and other educational facilities, our engineers who are highly knowledgeable in school construction offer a PM (project management) approach to carry out client oriented project management from the standpoint of the client. We provide a one-stop service which ranges from development of the basic concept and the basic plan, to management and cost transition control during the design, procurement and construction stages.
[Schools and Educational Facilities] Development of the Basic Concept and the Basic Plan (Project Startup Support)
Regarding new construction or renovation of schools and other educational facilities, we develop the basic concept and the basic plan for facilities that conform to the concept and the education policy of the school. We carry out various surveys concerning issues attendant to the existing facilities and also various subsidies, and we support the start up of the project by arranging the planning conditions, and formulating the project outline consisting mainly of the project schedule, the project budget and the procurement policy.
[Schools and Educational Facilities] Auxiliary Facilities Management
In the construction of a school or other educational facility, various types of auxiliary facilities such as furniture, AV equipment, ICT environment and kitchen equipment are required in addition to the school building itself. Regarding such auxiliary facilities as well, we carry out total management, from clarifying of the requirements to selection of the various vendors, coordinating the specifications, tendering, and delivery and transfer work. In addition, we unitarily manage the wide variety of items to be delivered under an environment of fair competition, thus greatly contributing to cost reduction and also significantly reducing the burden on the client.
